Order tracking can be of two types internal and an external order tracking (EOT) |

Following is the information required by the order tracking application to process the patient’s test results: |

Internal order tracking enables orders by the provider for lab reports and procedures within the practice with information provided by the physician the receiver on the other end would be alerted. |

External Order Tracking |
External order tracking enables orders given out of the practice by a provider for re-scheduling or lab analysis. |

Functionalities |

The System shall keep track of the reason for EOT. |

The System shall also save the relevant info of EOT such as date, time, and the person who assigned the task, the user to whom the task is assigned. |

The System shall enable an interface to connect and share relevant data with the External Service. |

An order tracking helps update the test results and progress of the task assigned spontaneously the statuses of the task are updated as pending or completed. |
