An EDC engages in Application development, testing and validation services, enhancements to the Client products, Maintenance and support activities etc, as per the requirements of the Client.
Generally the scope of work at the EDC will encompass one or more of the following:

Testing and Bug Fixing
Adding New Features
Performance Tuning
Maintenance and Support
The charges to Client for setting up and running the EDC are based on the number of resources to be billed per month and on the rates agreed to between Binary Spectrum and the Client.
